ABOUT
From the Valais mountains to the best glasses in the country
Gin d'EI was born from a return to the essentials:
to create a gin that has meaning, taste and character.

“D’Ei” is a way of saying “from here” in Valaisan dialect, a way of claiming one’s roots.
The marker-shaped label evokes a symbolic geolocation: that of taste.

• The origin of a solar gin
From a Valaisan mountain chalet to the menu of great establishments
It all begins in the heart of the Valais mountains. Up there, in a mountain pasture surrounded by apricot trees, Anouck and her family harvest, work, and ferment. Very early on, she discovers the pleasure of transforming matter, of distilling the essence of things.
After ten years in England, a Bachelor's degree in Wine Business (viticulture/oenology) and a specialization in spirits, Anouck returned home with a clear desire: to create the gin she dreamed of drinking. A gin with character, straightforward, yet subtle.
The first batch — 500 bottles for three years — sold out in three months. Gin d'Ei was born.
